My swelling has gone way down, and my vitals are looking good. Everyone seems very impressed with me and keeps commenting on what a big boy I am! My heart rate is 111 right now, my blood pressure is hovering around 80/50, and my sats are 94 (that is while I'm on a ventilator, but it's still great!). My ventilator is breathing for me at a rate of 24 breaths per minutes. Basically, all the numbers are right where the doctors want them.
Tomorrow morning they are closing up my chest. So I should be able to wiggle my toes again by the afternoon!
